Mr. Hasnat Ahmed Qureshi is Managing Director of Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) since 27^th May, 2024. He is an officer of Pakistan Audit and Accounts Services with 28 years of experience in public sector accounting, auditing, financial management and general administration. He holds Master degrees in Public Economic Management & Finance (UK) Human Resources, Management (Canada) and Executive MBA in Project Management (Pakistan).

Before joining PPRA, he worked in different organizations of the Federal Government at management positions including Controller General of Accounts, Auditor General of Pakistan, Ministries of Finance, Housing & Works, Science & Technology, Defence and Defence Production. He also worked with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as Consultant on fiscal decentralization.

He is member of various professional bodies including Pakistan Institute of Public Financial Accountant (PIPFA) and Human Resources Professional Association of Canada. He is associated with voluntary organizations like Pakistan Boy Scouts Association, Lions Club International, Pakistan US Alumni Network (PUAN), British Alumni Association (BAAP) & Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
