| Description | INVITATION FOR BIDS Bid Reference No: PD-ISD-01-2025 National Transmission & Despatch Co. Ltd. (NTDC) ?the Employer?, invites sealed bids from eligible firms or persons licensed by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in appropriate category through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) Single Stage-Single Envelope (SSSE) procedure for the execution of following work for which necessary funds are available: ?Civil Work, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 02 Nos. Fire Fighting System (Nitrogen Injection Explosion & Fire Protection System) of 220/132kV, 250 MVA Auto-Transformers at 220kV Grid Station Chakdara?. 1. The Employer invites sealed bids from eligible firms or persons licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in the appropriate category for the above scope of works. National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with PEC Single Stage-Single Envelope (SSSE) procedure. For the eligibility of bidders, they should have successfully completed as main contractor (single entity or joint venture partner) construction contract for installation of fire-fighting system for at least one (01) 220kV or higher rating auto-transformer including civil work, installation and testing & commissioning of fire-fighting/fire protection systems within the last ten (10) years and shall be in operation for at least 02 years prior to the deadline for submission of bids. 2. In case the bid is submitted by a joint venture, lead partner shall meet the above experience criteria, however each partner, other than the lead partner shall have experience of execution of construction/ installation contracts of fire-fighting system for at least one 220kV or higher rating auto-transformer as main contractor or as approved sub-contractor within last ten (10) years. 3. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of the amount not less than 3% of total bid price in the form of Deposit at Call or a Bank Guarantee issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan in favor of the Employer valid for a period up to twenty-eight (28) days beyond the bid validity date. 4. The interested bidder may purchase complete set of bidding documents on submission of a written application and payment of non-refundable fee of Rupees 3,000/- in the form of cash or bank draft from any scheduled bank in Pakistan in favor of ?P.D (EHV-I) NJP? along with documentary evidence to prove their eligibility to meet the required qualification criteria. 5.
