Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) is Pakistan leading integrated Gas company listed on Pakistan stock exchange. The company is engaged in the business of Transmission, Distribution and Sale of Natural Gas, besides construction of high pressure transmission and low pressure distribution systems. It is operating in its franchise area comprising provinces of Sindh and Baluchistan. The Company has annual turnover of over US$ 1 billion and in order to provide an un-interrupted gas supply to its over 3.2 million Industrial, Commercial and Domestic customers, SSGC works round the clock in cities and remote areas of its franchise provinces. Brief Description of Task: SSGC intend to hire services of HR Consultancy firm / Head hunting Firm, for assistance in recruitment of its MD/ CEO, the Firms having extensive experience, are invited to participate and submit their profiles. Scope of Work: Recruitment of MANAGING DIRECTOR/ CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER by widely advertising/ circulating the position in leading newspapers, social media platforms i.e.; LinkedIn etc., and as well as head-hunt top quality and seasoned professional, wishing to bring about a transformation and be a role model for other SOEs, while adhering to the requirements of SOEs Act, 2023, SOEs Ownership and Management Policy - 2023, Public Sector Companies (Appointment of Chief Executive) Guidelines, 2015, Corporate Governance Framework prevalent in the Country, Companies Act, 2017 and complying with all applicable Rules & Regulations. The process shall include but not limited to designing and publishing advertisements, processing of applications, screening and shortlisting of relevant profiles along with detailed ranked matrix for SSGC Board Nomination Committee / BOD review and arranging / coordinating interviews of the potential candidate with the Board Nominations Committee and the Board. Proposals are invited from HR Consultancy/ Head-Hunting firms fully compliant with the laid down criteria. HR Consultancy/ Head-Hunting Firms will be responsible to submit their profiles in sealed envelope clearly mentioning the project title marked as ?SSGC- Hiring of Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer? The EOI is to be submitted on or before 31-12-2024 at 1100 hrs in the Tender Room, Ground Floor, CRD Building, Head Office Complex, Sir Shah Suleman Road, Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Proposals submitted after EOI submission deadline will not be entertained. The EOI will be opened publically after the submission. The name of firms will be announced in the presence of their representatives who wish to attend. SSGC reserves the right to reject one or all the proposals and annul the EOI process. The headhunting firms will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Shortlisting Criteria. Shortlisting Mandatory Criteria 1. Experience of Recruitment on Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director: At least 03 successful placements / hiring of Managing Directors / Chief Executive Officers for leading Public Sector Companies / Large Corporate Sectors / Multinationals / NGOs in last Seven (07) years. 2. Registration with all applicable tax authorities including NTN, GST, SST, Professional Tax 3. Declaration of non-involvement in litigation / arbitration (certificate to this effect on Rs. 100 non-judicial stamp paper to be provided). Hard copy of supporting documents required as evidence. Only short-listed headhunting firms will be allowed to submit detailed RFP. The method of procurement will be ?Quality and Cost Based Selection? as per Procurement of Consultancy Regulation 2010.
