THE SUBMISSION DATE OF BIDS HAS BEEN EXTENDED. NOW THE BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED ON OR BEFORE 03.02.2025 AT 11:00 A.M. INSTEAD OF EXISTING i.e., 13.01.2025. Pay a non-refundable fee of PKR 2,000.00 or USD equivalent by cashier?s cheque, pay order or demand bank draft in favor of Chief Engineer (Material Procurement & Management), NTDC, 8th Floor, Shaheen Complex, Egerton Road, Lahore, Pakistan. The document may be collected in person or may be sent by express airmail for an additional fee of PKR 3,000.00 for domestic delivery or USD 150.00 for overseas delivery. No liability will be accepted for loss in transit or late delivery. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE TENDER NOTICE SHALL REMAIN UNCHANGED. Date: 11-12-2024 I.INTRODUCTION Suki Kinari HPP is being constructed in the Northern area of Pakistan. For the dispersal of the power generated by this Power Plant, a 500kV D/C Quad Bundle Transmission Line from Suki Kinari HPP to the 500kV Maira Switching Station is being constructed. Further, for power dispersal from Karot HPP, a 20 Km long 500kV D/C Quad Bundle Transmission Line from Karot HPP to the 500kV Maira Switching Station is to be constructed. The power is further transmitted from the 500kV Maira Switching Station to Islamabad West Substation through a 131km long 500kV Double Circuit Quad Bundle Transmission Line which is the scope of work of this Project. The transmission line will be constructed through NTDC?s own resources in accordance with the Bidding Documents. To ensure successful implementation of the project as per technical specifications, the Employer intends to hire consultancy services for design review, construction supervision and other allied activities of the project. II.REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) 1.To implement this project, NTDC requires the services of a competent consulting firm with the appropriate capabilities and experience to execute services required in Annex-2 of RFP. A firm will be selected under Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) and procedures described in the RFP. 2.RFP consists of the following documents: i.This Letter of Invitation ii.General Information to Consultants (Annex-1) iii.Terms of Reference for Consultants (Annex-2) iv.Break up of Man month Inputs of Key Personnel (Annex-3) v.Format for Technical Proposals (Annex-4) vi.Format for Financial Proposal (Annex-5) vii.Standard Contract Agreement for Consulting Services (Annex-6) viii.Exhibits (I, II, III) III.SUBMISSION OF PROPOSAL You are invited to submit a comprehensive Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal, each in triplicate (one original + two copies), in separate sealed envelope, for the Services required under the Terms of Reference (TOR) as provided in Annex-2, not later than 1100 hours on 13-01-2025 . IV.VALIDITY OF THE PROPOSAL The Proposal shall be valid for a period of 120 days after last date of submission, extendable further on the expiry of this period through mutual agreement. V.DUTY TO INFORM The firms are expected to inform themselves fully of all aspects of the assignment, required consultancy services for the Project and the local conditions before submitting the Proposal by paying a visit to the Project site and sending written queries to the undersigned. The consulting firms will have no claim against NTDC or any of its representatives for damages, losses, costs or expenses, of any nature whatsoever, incurred by the firm resulting from any misunderstanding as to the nature, scope, risks and conditions of the assignment/consultancy services for the project.
