Conductor Deadline for Submission of Bids: December 30, 2024, 11:00am (Pakistan Standard Time) 1. The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of 4383-PAK: Power Transmission Strengthening Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB. 2. The National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC, ?the Purchaser?) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the ?Procurement of Goods ? 500kV Double Circuit Quad Bundle Transmission Line from 500kV Maira Switching Station to 500kV Islamabad West Substation (approx. 131km), and 500kV double circuit transmission line from Maira Switching Station to Karot Switchyard (20km approx.) using ACSR ?Drake? Conductor? The material shall be procured in (01) lot: Lot # Description Quantity Lot-I Dampers Lot* *The quantities of the above lot shall be as per the respective Price Schedule(s). 3. International Open Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB?s Single-Stage - One-Envelope procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document. 4. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualification should participate in this bidding: The Bidders must satisfy the evaluation and qualification criteria in Section 3 of the Bidding Documents. The Bidder or its proposed Manufacturer must have at least 05 years design/ manufacturing experience of similar Goods having similar or higher rating and capacity. The Bidder or its proposed Manufacturer shall have manufactured and supplied similar Goods of similar or higher rating and capacity in the quantities at least equal to 100% quantities within a continuous period of fifteen (15) months during the last ten (10) years in a single or multiple contracts. The Goods supplied by the bidder should have been in satisfactory operation for a continuous period of at least three years on the date of Bid opening. In case of JV, all partners combined should fulfill this requirement. The bidders, who are not manufacturers themselves, shall furnish an authorization from the concerned manufacturer to submit a bid for supply of their goods to Pakistan against this tender. The delivery period is 240 days for CIF (Karachi) / EXW Pakistan (excluding 20 days for inland transportation in case of Ex-Works delivery for Goods supplied from within Pakistan) contracts respectively from the date of signing of contract. 6.
