Contract No. and Title: ADB-401F(R)-2024: Procurement of Goods for (i) 220kV D/C Twin Bundle Transmission Line from 500kV Sheikh Muhammadi Grid to 220kV Jamrud Grid (Approx. 45km) (ii) 220kV D/C Twin Bundle Transmission Line from 220kV Dharki Grid to 220kV Rahim Yar Khan Grid (Approx. 123km) (iii) 220kV D/C Twin Bundle Transmission Line from 220kV Rahim Khan Grid to 220kV Bahawalpur Grid (Approx. 132km) Deadline for Submission of Bids: 28th October, 2024, 11:00am (Pakistan Standard Time) 1. The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Second Power Transmission Enhancement Investment Program - Tranche 4. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB. 2. The National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC, ?the Purchaser?) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for ?Procurement of Goods for (i) 220kV D/C Twin Bundle Transmission Line from 500kV Sheikh Muhammadi Grid to 220kV Jamrud Grid (Approx. 45km) (ii) 220kV D/C Twin Bundle Transmission Line from 220kV Dharki Grid to 220kV Rahim Yar Khan Grid (Approx. 123km) (iii) 220kV D/C Twin Bundle Transmission Line from 220kV Rahim Khan Grid to 220kV Bahawalpur Grid (Approx. 132km)?. The material shall be procured in two (02) lots: Lot # Description Lot-I Polymer Insulator Strings along with Hardware, Accessories & Grounding Material Lot-II Dampers Note: The quantities of the above material shall be as per the respective Price Schedule in Section-IV of the bidding document. Bidders may submit their bid for one lot or any combination of lots. 3. Open competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB?s Single-Stage - One-Envelope procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document. 4. The Bidders must satisfy the evaluation and qualification criteria in Section 3 of the Bidding Documents for each Lot of the subject Bidding Document in which they wish to participate, including the following key requirements: Successful completion as a main supplier within the last ten (10) years, of at least one (01) contract having a value of contract at least equivalent to amount of respective Lot mentioned in clause 2.3.1 of Section 3 of the bidding document with nature, and complexity similar to the scope of supply described in Section 6 (Schedule of Supply). The bidder shall demonstrate that the goods offered have been in production by the manufacturer for at least five (05) years and manufacturer has experience of manufacturing similar Equipment/goods with similar or higher rating and capacity. The bidder shall demonstrate that the manufacturer has manufactured & supplied similar Goods having similar or higher rating & capacity in a quantity at least equal to the 100% quantities of the respective Lot during the last ten (10) years in a single or multiple contracts. In case of JV, all partners combined should fulfill this requirement (draft JV agreement should be provided with the bid). The bidders, who are not manufacturers themselves, shall furnish an authorization from the concerned manufacturer to submit a bid for supply of their goods to Pakistan against this tender. The delivery period is 180 days for Lot-I & Lot-II for CIF (Karachi) / EXW Pakistan (excluding 20 days for inland transportation to NTDC?s warehouse Multan case of Ex-Works delivery which is applicable only for Goods supplied from within Pakistan) contracts respectively from the date of signing of contract. 6.
