| Description | The Capital Development Authority invites sealed bids under single stage two Envelope procedure from firms register with Pakistan Engineering Council having valid registration certificate for the year 2024-25 in relevant Category with relevant codes required mentioned in bidding documents who can prove their eligibility and qualification as mentioned in the bidding documents for the following works:- Name of work P/F 2" THICK RCC MANHOLE COVERS/SLABS IN ENQUIRY OFFICE, CSD, CDA. NIT amount in PKR 11,407,971/- E/Money amount in PKR 342,300/- Tender Fee Non- Refundable 3000/- Tender receiving Date/Time 03-09-2024 11.30 A.M Tender opening 03-09-2024 12.00 Noon 1. Bidding documents can be purchased from the office of Deputy Director City Sewerage Division Room No.147 Old Naval Headquarter G-6 Islamabad up to 30-08-2024 on submission of application with a (Non-refundable) tender fee in form pay order/CDR in favor of DDO, City Sewerage Division, CDA being cost of bidding documents during working hours on or before giving date and time and same must be submitted in the office of Director (Sanitation), CDA on respective date and time. Bidders are required to submit two sealed envelopes simultaneously (one containing the Technical proposal/bid and the other financial/price bid) enclosed together in and outer single sealed envelope. The detail terms & conditions are included in the bidding documents. 2. Bidding documents can be downloaded from PPRA EPADS portal and prospective bidders are required to submit their bids online through EPAD at http://eprocure.gov.pk before opening date. Original bids in accordance with the provisions of rule 36 (b) of Public Procurement rules 2004 and terms and conditions defined in the bidding documents must be submitted at the mentioned address on respective date and time. 3. Only firms/ contractors registered with PPRA with EAPDS as vendors are eligible to purchase bidding documents. 4. The financial/price bid shall remain sealded and will be in the custody of Director Sanitation, CDA until evaluation of technical bids. However time for opening of financial bids of qualified bidders will be intimated accordingly. 5. Technical bid should be accompanied bid security / earnest money (Re-fundable) in the forms of pay order /CDR?s in favour of DDO (City Sewerage Division) CDA. The prospective bidder will upload scanned coy of bid security on EPAD and original will be submitted in the office of Dy.Director (City Sewerage Division), CDA. 6. Any contractor who has not submitted his bid on both forums, his tender will be cancelled. 7. Tender for the work mentioned above will be received and opened by Director Sanitation CDA located at Room No.05, Ground floor, CDA Sector G-6/1-3, Islamabad in the presence of contractors or their authorized representatives who care to attend 8. In case the total bid amount is less than 10% below the NIT amount, the bidder shall submit call deposit as performance security equal to the difference between NIT Amount and total quoted amount less 10% of NIT amount. That is required performance security=NIT amount total bid amount 10% of NIT amount. This call deposit shall be in addition to the earnest money for the work and shall be deposited at the time of submission of bids. Bids not carrying the performance security shall be rejected. The performance security of the successful bidder shall be released after completion of the project. 9. The bid security of all bidders should be deposited in CDA?s bank account and the bid securities of unsuccessful bidders will be returned upon award of contract to the successful bidder or on the expiry of validity of Bid security whichever is earlier. 10. CDA may reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to acceptance of bid or proposals. CDA shall upon request communicate, to any contractor or supplier who submitted a bid / proposal, but is not required to justify those grounds 11.
