Contract No. and Title: ADB-401E-01R(b)-2024: Procurement of 500kV, 220kV and 132kV Circuit Breakers for NTDC Substations Deadline for Submission of Bids: 26th June, 2024, 11:00am (Pakistan Standard Time) 1. The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Second Power Transmission Enhancement Investment Program - Tranche 4, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB. 2. The National Transmission and Despatch Company (?NTDC or the Purchaser?) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for ??Procurement of 500kV, 220kV and 132kV Circuit Breakers for NTDC Substations.?. The goods shall be procured in the following three (03) lots: Lot. No. Description Quantity Va 500 kV Circuit Breakers 6 Sets Vb 220 kV Circuit Breakers 36 Sets Vc 132 kV Circuit Breakers 37 Sets Bidders may submit their bid for one lot or any combination of lots. 3. Open competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB?s Single-Stage: One-Envelope procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document. 4. Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications defined in the Bidding Document may participate in this bidding: Technical Experience Technical Experience Size of Operation (Average Annual Turnover) The Bidder or its proposed Manufacturer must have at least 05 years design/ manufacturing experience of similar Goods of the respective Lot having similar or higher rating and capacity. The Bidder or its proposed Manufacturer shall have manufactured and supplied similar Goods of similar or higher rating and capacity in the quantities at least equal to the 100% quantities of the respective lot during the last ten (10) years in a single or multiple contracts. The Goods supplied by the bidder should have been in satisfactory operation for a continuous period of at least three years on the date of bid opening. In case of JV, all partners combined should fulfill this requirement (draft JV agreement should be provided with the bid). The bidders, who are not manufacturers themselves, shall furnish an authorization from the concerned manufacturer to submit a bid for supply of their Goods to NTDC in Pakistan against this bid. Minimum average annual turnover of: Lot-Va: US$ 3,031,560 or equivalent PKR Lot-Vb: US$ 4,181,990 or equivalent PKR Lot-Vc: US$ 1,835,820 or equivalent PKR calculated as total payments received by the Bidder for contracts completed or under execution over the last three (03) years. To purchase the Bidding Documents in English, eligible Bidders should ? write to the address above requesting the Bidding Documents for ADB-401E-01R(b)-2024: Procurement of 500kV, 220kV & 132KV Circuit Breakers for NTDC Substations. ? pay a nonrefundable fee of PKR 5,000.00 or USD equivalent by cashier?s cheque, pay order or demand bank draft in favor of Chief Engineer (Material Procurement & Management), NTDC, 8th Floor, Shaheen Complex, Egerton Road, Lahore, Pakistan. The document may be collected in person or may be sent by express airmail for an additional fee of PKR 3,000.00 for domestic delivery or USD 150.00 for overseas delivery. ?
