National Procurement Authority The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority is an autonomous body endowed with the responsibility of prescribing regulations and procedures for public procurements by Federal Government owned public sector organizations with a view to improve governance, management, transparency, accountability and quality of public procurement of goods, works and services. It is also endowed with the responsibility of monitoring procurement by public sector agencies/organizations and has been delegated necessary powers under the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority Ordinance 2002.
PPRA-Pakistan is working on Open contracting as the world is architecting technology towards machine automation, and the same is emphasized by OCDS, PPRA releases the data in machine readable format, compliant with OCDS API documentation at (http://standard.open-contracting.org/latest/en/), via http://www.ppra.org.pk/api/index.php/.
PPRA Pakistan is working to implement OCDS in Pakistan and publish procurement data on all of the five stages of a procurement process (plan, tender, award, contract and implementation) in OCDS format for public use. Basic level of OCDS data sharing is achieved by PPRA and are working to ensure to shift intermediate to advance level OCDS data publication.
- Record web | API: A record is a aggregate of all the releases available for a contracting process at a given time. There ought to be only be one record per contracting process.
- Bulk release/release package web | API: Bulk releases is the complete snapshot of data from our records. All the releases of PPRA is grouped together and published as a bulk release
